Install “No Ads for ITVX” in Chrome on a computer and start a programme on itv.com. The video ads in the player are skipped to the end, then your programme carries on by itself.
Is the trial really free?
Yes. The first ad break is skipped for free. If you want to carry on, you pay a one-off £4.99 for lifetime access, with no subscription. Otherwise you remove the extension in one click.

Does ITVX show an ad-blocker screen?

Turn it off for itv.com. It stays on everywhere else.
How fast are the ads skipped?
In our test on 27/10/2026, 3 ads (30 + 20 + 10 seconds) were skipped in about 1 second. The programme then resumed by itself.
Does it work on a TV, a phone or a set-top box?
No. Only in Google Chrome on a computer (Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebook).

What data is collected?
