Frequently asked questions

How do I stream without ads?

Install the extension for your platform in Chrome on a computer. There are “No Ads for ITVX”, “No Ads for Channel 4” and “No Ads for Channel 5”, all coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. The video ads in the player are then skipped and your programme starts straight away.

Is the trial really free?

Yes. The first ad break is skipped for free. If you want to carry on, you pay a one-off £4.99 for lifetime access, with no subscription. Otherwise you remove the extension in one click.

Does it work on a TV or a phone?

No. Only in Google Chrome on a computer. Smart TVs, set-top boxes and phones are not covered.

What data is collected?

No browsing data. If you buy, only the purchase goes through ExtensionPay and Stripe.

What is a Chrome extension?

A small add-on for the Google Chrome browser. You install it in one click from Google's official store (the Chrome Web Store) and remove it any time in one click from the Chrome menu.
